Bosch-certified partner, Auvis proposed a system combining EVH & EVF loudspeakers

Constructed in the heart of the vibrant metropolis of Bangkok, Nimibutr Stadium is an indoor sports arena used mainly for concerts, basketball, futsal and boxing. Part of Thailand’s national stadium complex, it was opened in 1963 and has a seating capacity of 5,600. The stadium hosts many important tournaments, including the Asian Games and AFC Futsal Championship.

As a venue that hosts international sports competitions, the sound system in the stadium was recently updated to meet the standards defined by the international governing body of football. The project was entrusted to Bosch-certified partner, Auvis (Thailand) Co., Ltd., to upgrade the entire pro-audio system with products from Electro-Voice.

Auvis proposed a solution combining EVH (horn loaded) and EVF (front loaded) series loudspeakers powered by CPS4.10 and CPS4.5 amplifiers. A combination of EVH-1152D and EVF-1122S models work together to provide seamless, full-bandwidth coverage throughout the stadium, ensuring excellent speech intelligibility for announcements along with a powerful audio experience for fans. The main EVH arrays are flown above and around the venue’s large four-sided central display; the EVF boxes are mounted underneath to serve as fills and address the playing field. The system is controlled via EV’s NetMax N8000 digital matrix processors, running an IRIS-Net software configuration.

Nimibutr Stadium is impressed with their new system and the professional service provided by Auvis throughout the whole project.
