Rockstar Gym is a one-stop total development centre for children and teens designed to enhance physical, socio-emotional, and cognitive skills. The state-of-the-art facility offers a variety of classes such as dance, gymnastics, yoga, martial arts, and fun fitness sports programs in swimming, tennis, basketball, and futsal for children aged from 6 months to 16 years. With a total of nine branches all over Jakarta, Rockstar Gym has become one of the fastest-growing kids and teens gyms in Indonesia since it opened for business in March 2011.

Rockstar Gym demands superior sound quality in all their outlets. Clear and powerful music playback helps ensure a great atmosphere for their members, while excellent coverage and intelligibility are essential to clearly communicate class schedules or safety announcements.

Rockstar’s management team consulted PT. Sinergi Anugrah Mandiri and Y2C International to design, supply, and install audio systems in their two new outlets located at Pluit Village Mall and Cinere Bellevue XXI. The Pluit Village outlet is fitted with indoor fitness rooms while the Cinere Bellevue comes with additional facilities of a swimming area.

ZLX and EVID speaker models

Electro-Voice ZLX and EVID speaker models – offering a high level of clarity and coverage in their sleek, compact enclosures – were specified by the installers and were deployed in both outlets. ZLX12P models cover the gymnastics room in the studio, reception, and the lounge area where the parents sit and relax while waiting for their kids in class. EVID 6.2T models with elliptical weather-resistant ABS enclosures cover the rooftop pool and surrounding areas.

Following the installation, the Rockstar Gym’s management is impressed with the intelligibility and musical reproduction of the loudspeakers – a solution that addresses the audio needs of Rockstar’s fitness, lounge, pool, and reception areas.
