Every summer, the Lido Valle Corsari restaurant and beach club in the Italian coastal resort of Sperlonga resounds to the beat of an open air nightclub. For this season, a new Yamaha DSR series audio system is making sure that clubbers enjoy the very best sound.

Summer officially arrived at Valle Corsari on 3rd July, as a warm, dry evening was the setting for the season’s opening night and a huge crowd enjoyed the new Yamaha audio system for the first time.

High quality sound

Supplied by Sperlonga-based Remix Sound, the system comprises six flown DSR215 loudspeakers and four ground-stacked DSR118W subwoofers. All the inputs, routing and audio processing are managed by a Yamaha MTX3 processor

The system was specified by Remix Sound technical director Michele De Simone and proved more than capable of handling the diverse array of music played on the opening night. This included DJ sets, live vocals and percussion from Italian club stars Fabio Guglietta, Alex Spagnoli, Flavio Fernandi and Mario Ciaciarella.

“The club was absolutely packed with people and the system coped perfectly with the mix of classic and modern material, provoking wild dancing and singing throughout the night,” says Michele. “The performers and everyone involved with the club are delighted with the Yamaha system, which is helping to reaffirm its position as the area’s summer nightlife queen!”
