ProVisionaire Touch, the iPad app that allows users to easily create original control panels and control audio installations from a tablet device, has been updated to version 1.2. The update adds support for MusicCast compatible products as well as Disklavier Enspire reproducing pianos. A single iPad can now control an even greater range of music sources in installations built around MTX or MRX series processors. The ProVisionaire Touch Kiosk app is now included, allowing easy user access management to prevent unintended controller and design changes during use.

Main V1.2 features

MusicCast enabled audio devices and Disklavier Enspire pianos are now supported. A single iPad can be used to control a comprehensive range of music sources: CD players, NAS storage, mobile devices, Internet radio, and even piano.

System example: Hotel lobby

MusicCast playback, Disklavier playback, and DisklavierRadio streaming are centrally managed via an MRX7-D unit.

  • Mobile devices connected via AirPlay or Bluetooth, or DLNA streams from HDD, can be selected for each area.
  • Tunes can be selected via ProVisionaire Touch.
  • Independent volume control and source selection for each area can be carried out via ProVisionaire Touch or DCP series control panels.

ProVisionaire Touch Kiosk

The Yamaha ProVisionaire Touch Kiosk application for iPad can be used to limit access to just the controls required for basic operation, preventing end users from inadvertently changing other settings or design parameters.
